Warm Up Your Abs
The best way to warm up your abs, is to start an abs exercise with no weights or add some dynamic stretching pre-workout. It will increase the blood flow into your muscles and also prevents injuries.

*Note: During this workout you should not focus on rushing the movements. You will have to control the weight from the beginning to the end of the movement; with good form.*

Weighted Hanging Leg Raises 6 sets

  1. 2 x Warmups 20-25 reps
  2. 4 x Moderate Weight 12-15 reps

 

 

 

 

 

Leg Drops

1. 4 x Body Weight 12-15 reps each

 

 

 

 

Weighted Oblique Twists 4 sets

  1. 4 x Moderate Weight 12-15 reps

 

 

 

 

Flutter Kicks 4 sets

  1. 4 x Body Weight 12-15 reps

 

 

 

Abs V Hold 2 sets

    Thank you so much for posting basic exercise that I can do at home. I will be turning 50 next month and due to a disability I have gained some extra weight. Concerned about my weight gain because I already have health issues that extra weight is not good. Your exercises seem easy to do at the comfort of my home and a great way for me to get started without the embarrassment of going in a gym.
